Time: Sundays, 3:30 - 4:30pm
Locations are based on your designated group.

*Childcare will be provided through PIF Kids on a weekly basis.
**PIF Youth will also be continuing their Bible Studies from 3:00PM - 4:30PM on a weekly basis.

SUMMER WATER BAPTISM

Make a public declaration of your faith!

Perquisites for Water Baptism is to attend our baptism class that will begin on Sunday, June 9 @ 3:30pm in Room 208.

Water Baptism will be held at Promise Church on Sunday, June 23 @ 1:30pm.

Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection.

We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family.

UNDERGRAD STUDENT NIGHT

Join Pastor Joseph Ryu for some good food and good conversations as we think through together on topics that move and shake the movers and shakers of our generation.

Christian faith is often separated and irrelevant in the Christian life and that is why we find ourselves swayed by the ever-changing tides of our cultures. And so, in the midst of cultural changes, pressures, and messages, the Christian must become more clear and articulate about a Biblical worldview.

Through open and loving discussions of varying topics, we aim to develop a Biblical worldview we can call our own that is compassionate for those who disagree and attractive to the skeptic.

Please Note! These nights are only open to undergraduate students who are CURRENTLY ATTENDING school.

PIF YOUNG ADULTS | DODGEBALL

Single, post-undergraduate adult life is considered a transitional period where individuals are figuring out their calling in life through career opportunities, relationships, and growing in faith and character. This stage in life (in between college and married life) is composed of people of varying age, life experiences, and knowledge. We believe this journey is best experienced through fellowship with others in a Christ-centered community where we encourage one another to grow in our faith, share life stories and just have fun!

Get your summer body by joining us for a friendly co-ed dodgeball tournament on May 18th at 5:00pm in the gym. Afterwards, we will grab dinner with our new friends.

This event is for single young adults only.

BABY DEDICATION

The scriptural root of baby/child dedication

1 Samuel 1:27–28 (NASB), where a godly woman named Hannah prayed year after year for God to give her a child. He answered her prayer and she gave birth to a son, whom she named Samuel. When Samuel was born, Hannah prayed these words:

"For this boy I prayed, and the Lord has given me my petition which I asked of Him. So I have also dedicated him to the Lord; as long as he lives he is dedicated to the Lord."

One key step in marking your desire to nurture your child in the ways of God is to dedicate him or her to God publicly, through a child dedication ceremony.

What else should I know?

Dedication is not salvation. The Bible is clear that salvation comes only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, so the child must make that decision on his or her own. We do not sprinkle, christen, or baptize babies. Again, baptism is a decision they will make individually after salvation. At the baby dedication, the parent(s) and family bring the child to the platform, where our pastor speaks words of instruction and prays over the child and family.

Parents should feel free to invite grandparents, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and close friends to witness their baby or child dedication.

Wednesday - BIblical Foundations

What is the bible? Why can we trust it? Learn more about biblical foundations with us this summer. Classes will run for 8 weeks on Wednesdays. Dig deeper and learn more about the Bible with Pastor David Hong!

Biblical foundation is the solid ground on which all believers can build their trust in Christ. In our post-Christian culture, many of those who may attend church on the weekend often lack the confidence to share their faith during the week. This can be attributed to a weak foundation.  God has called all believers to share the love of Christ expressed fully in the Gospel. Come and build a strong foundation to build God’s kingdom.”
