We serve people in communities and countries outside our own, with an emphasis on our vision to educate and raise children in God's love.

Vision: 4/14 Window Global Initiative

PIF truly believes that, in children, our greatest opportunity for Christian outreach and education lies. “Raising up a New Generation from the 4/14 Window to Transform the World” (a.k.a. 4/14 Window Global Initiative) is a bold process of collaboration and mobilization that seeks to obey God’s call to this new missional focus. This global movement began with a 4/14 Window Global Summit in September 2009 in New York City, with more than 350 participants from over 70 countries.

The PIF Missions Program

The PIF missions program is founded on the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), which calls us to reach the lost and to lead them into Christ's saving grace and love. We participate in this cause by building schools, planting churches, and equipping local leadership.

Home Missions / Community Outreach

The congregation of PIF seeks out ways to minister to the needs of the local community. In the past, we have held food and clothing drives, as well as partnered with organizations such as Prison Fellowship, Angel Tree, Convoy of Hope and Habitat for Humanity

Nicaragua School Project

Over the past ten years, we've built a preschool and a primary school, Promise International Academy, to invest in the future leaders of Nicaragua. Recently, we are raising funds to complete the Nehemiah Project, a special project to build a fresh wall around the school's property, providing safety to our student community there.

Short-Term Missions

Each year, teams participate in short-term missions trips as well as compassion and evangelistic causes throughout Central America, Africa and South East Asia. Recently, we've sent teams to Nicaragua and Cambodia to work with our outreach partners, support our child sponsorship programs, and minister to the local communities through special programs and initiative evangelism.

Powerhouse Kids

PIF partners with Promise Ministries International in offering Powerhouse -- a free, exciting, dynamic Saturday morning kids program where kids ages 4-14 can grow in character, participate in lots of different fun classes and activities, and get to know many other kids in the neighborhood. Powerhouse aims to be a kid-empowering center that comes alongside of parents in enabling their children to reach their full potential, physically, mentally and spiritually.

Promise Kids Foundation

Promise Kids Foundation [PKF] is a child sponsorship program that was started in 2007 in Nicaragua with the sole purpose of spreading God’s love for children by providing education, health care, and nutrition to children of poverty. We are currently sponsoring 100 children and teenagers spread across 3 towns: Troilo, Fortín, and La Ceiba in Nicaragua and 50 children in Kampong Thom, Cambodia.

One of the unique opportunities that PKF offers is throughout the year, we send a dedicated PKF team to Nicaragua and Cambodia so that the children can meet their sponsors personally and see new faces from New York. During these trips, we focus on spreading God’s love and accentuating the fact that each and every one of these children are all part of God’s kingdom and are loved by Him.

Teach4Nica

Teach4Nica first began in 2008 as a movement of volunteers who invest in the students at our primary school in Leon, Nicaragua: Promise International AcademyTeach4Nica offers classes in English, holds teacher seminars, first aid seminars, donates classroom items and furniture, teaches dance classes and constructs mural projects around the school.

Our mission is to pour out love to the school and bridge the gap between NY and León. We want the students and faculty of the Academy to know that PIF is always thinking of them, supporting them and praying for them.
