The Vision Behind The Project

"Transforming the course of a nation, one classroom at a time." -- we want to equip today's children with strong academic and spiritual teaching. In Nicaragua, we pray and work to bring up children who will one day grow up and become capable leaders for the nation. It all began with a school in León, Nicaragua.

2007: Promise International Fellowship opens a pre-school and primary school building in the town of León, Nicaragua. It is dedicated as Promise International Academy (PIA).

2011: Local robbers enter the grounds of the school and attack our stationed security guard, who is shot and wounded. He is hospitalized but survives.

2013: PIF raises $20,000 of the $50,000 needed to build walls of protection around the school. Construction begins on the wall in León. It remains unfinished.

2014: PIA becomes Promise Christian Academy, strengthening its identity as a Christian school in León.

Our 2014 Goal: Finish The Wall

Two-thirds of the contstruction on the wall remains. Raising $30,000 this year will meet our goal. This wall is more than just a project. It's a meaningful investment in safety and security. You can help!
